The Series M Magnetic Surface Thermocouples are commonly used for
temporary measurements of surface temperatures of ferrous materials. A
powerful Alnico Magnet presses the spring-loaded sensor tip against the
surface to be measured. The magnet has a holding force of 16 lbs and can
withstand up to 1000°F (535°C) without any degradation.
